EYE-MOVEMENT DESENSITISATION AND REPROCESSING 

Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy seeks to process traumas by mirroring our natural information processing system. Trauma, defined as anything causing a lasting negative impact on the mind and body, often leaves memories 'unprocessed' and frozen in the brain. EMDR employs bilateral stimulation, including eye movements, tapping, or sounds, to process these traumatic memories.
